Thomas Pollak

Thomas Pollak is the CEO of MUT GmbH. He was born in 1964 and comes from Upper Austria. He graduated from the BRG Wallererstraße Grammar School in Wels and studied at the University of Mining in Leoben.

After graduating, he started his career first as a Quality and Project Manager and later as an authorized signatory of an R&D company (industrial minerals / environmental technology / thermal process engineering) and deputy manager of an accredited testing and inspection agency. He has been employed at M.U.T. since 1998 and CEO since 2002.

He has been a visiting lecturer for processing technology at the Berg- und Hüttenschule Leoben (Industrial foreman's apprenticeship) since 1995, a lead auditor of management systems since 2000 (quality, environment, CO2), and a lecturer at the Institute of Thermal Process Technology since 2003.
